A Salute to Our Heroes: Honouring True Contributors
In observance of Labour Day, Darshan Academy organized a meaningful activity, “Salute to Our Heroes,” to express gratitude to the real-life heroes whose dedication and hard work shape our society. Students in Grades III to V showcased their appreciation by creating heartfelt cards to honor and thank these heroes. Students in Grades VI to VIII participated in a thoughtful “Gratitude Wall” activity, sharing messages of respect and admiration that reflected their awareness and sense of responsibility. The activity highlighted a creative expression of gratitude by young learners, recognition of workers’ efforts and contributions, and the promotion of values such as respect, the dignity of labour, and empathy. The initiative highlighted the importance of recognizing everyone who contributes to society’s betterment.
