Darshan Academy, Amritsar, successfully conducted an Inter-House Debate Competition for students of Grades VI to VIII on the thought-provoking topic: “Globalization is Beneficial for India.” Students from all four houses participated with great enthusiasm, presenting well-researched arguments both in favour of and against the motion. The young debaters demonstrated impressive confidence, logical reasoning, effective communication, and the ability to present their viewpoints clearly.
The competition provided students with an enriching platform to explore the economic, technological, social, cultural, and environmental dimensions of globalization. The rebuttal rounds further encouraged critical thinking and the ability to respond thoughtfully to opposing perspectives. The event fostered healthy competition, intellectual curiosity, public speaking skills, and informed thinking, making it a valuable and engaging learning experience for all participants.
